I have noticed a pattern with Calzaghe fans seems they love to write these long ass replies in an attempt to elevate the man's opponents ..

Lately they have been getting longer but what's funny is not matter how many sentences they write it still won't make his resume any better !

How does it say it was poor?

    How do you think?

Go and look at the division when it was stronger in the early to mid 90's.

Do you think Tate and Reid would have made the top ten in say 94/95?

Do you think if they'd have been LHW's, they'd have been ranked in the top ten?

You told me the other day that Tate was ranked in the top ten before Joe was scheduled to fight him.

    Ha!

Yet it hasn't registered that the division was weak?

It just laughs in the face of the logic that you apply.

    bailey,

At the time Joe fought him, he wasn't even fighting at SMW.

Yet again, you're trying to credit Joe with Eubank's past glories.

Eubank hadn't fought at SMW in over two years.

    He'd left the division.

He hadn't won at SMW for three years.

    He's just joking with us.

He said a few days ago he's always trying to detract from him.

    It entertains us though.

Failey is constantly misstating facts and giving misleading answers.

His views are so biased that he can not give credit to any guy except Calzaghe or opponents faced by Calzaghe.

I was actually referring to KillSomething.

Bailey has great knowledge, but he can be extremely biased and use poor logic.

I would love for Bailey to break down all of the fighters Roy beat, what they were or went on to do the way he does Calzaghe's opponents.

Roy beat something like 20 former current or future world champions...

He could paint Roy as the GOAT.

    Definitely.

    But he'd never do it.

The way he spins those stats at SMW, is an art.

Roy's winning streak as to why he was legit again against Calzaghe and ranked #7 at LHW..

For what? Badi Ajamu? never heard of him until Roy fought him..

Anthony Hanshaw... No LHW pedigree whatsoever, Roy went life and death with him.. Hanshaw was obliterated soon after.

Trinidad? I have seen Hopkins' win discredited with the argument that Trinidad was was not a great MW...

But yet Calzaghe and his fans rate Jones' win over him at a catch weight of 170 and retired, no LHW fights at all, as for a reason that Jones was adjusted back?

Oh BTW, Trinidad landed plenty of punches on Jones who was a walking punchbag at that point, who was nowhere near as elusive as Jones of old. Without those two knockdowns, it would have been a close fight.

Not even Bailey can spin these facts.:deal

Yea it was nice to watch but painful I don't pretend to know who would of beat who prime for prime but Jones was not even close to being a shadow of himself. I rate Calzaghes win over BHOP as BHOP was in the middle of some of his best wins and he didn't rely on natural abilities like Jones he was a defensive master with superb technical skill. But Jonesssss yea he didn't have any of the technical stuff down he was physical prowess and when that went he went down hard.Whats sad I feel is that BOTH Calzaghe and Jones tarnished their own records by the comp they fought. Once in awhile they fought good fighters but were happy fighting bums ALOT. BHOP would be in the same boat BUT after losing to JT he moved up to LHW and started taking on all comers and I have a lot of respect for that. 50 years old just fought Kovalev and STILL might try and fight Stevens! Prime for Prime I feel that BHOP comes in behind Jones and Calzaghe H2H BUT ATG wise I feel he should be rated higher. C'mon the guy is a legend we should have more posts about him then Jones and Calzaghe.

Guys like Bailey often tie themselves up without realising it.

The whole 'Roy was back to his best' thing by Joe, was just an absolute joke.

I'm sure that Joe stayed up until 5am like I did, to watch Roy fight Ajamu on Eurosport.
