What do you mean by greatest? By who he beat at 168? Or skill wise? I don't rate him as the greatest in either category at 168.

I was a massive fan, but sadly Roy has some question marks that appeared around the Hall fight.

I dont need to spin anything.
Roy was the #6 LHW and had wins over champs when the fight was signed as well as wins over other then current top 10 LHWs including the champ.
Ajamu I knew of and other than the first round, it looked like the Roy of old, like when he fought Frazier that not many knew of.
Hanshaw was undefeated and coming off a fight with another undefeated fighter.
Tito was put down twice and clearly beaten. Roy was able to take the shots off a WW and didnt need to be elusive.
Roy was getting himself back adjusted to LHW, so that he would be back to what we knew

It took him time to get back adjusted to LHW.
    Here read this

Amazing how all thses people claim Jones was shot yet cant explain the post below.
People say Roy was shot when Calzaghe beat him but show me where he was so different there to when he failed a test against R Hall and where the hand speed was so different. The difference was Jones was facing someone who could match him for speed and had a bit more ring generalship. Hall couldnt close the gaps like Calzaghe also Calzaghes foot movement was causing Jones problems

No doubt there will be some that say well if you cant tell the difference, but let them explain.
Nobody can tell me the difference in Jones, but you can see the difference between Calzaghe and Hall and that seemed to make a big difference
