Joe Calzaghe Slags Off Carl Froch http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=5u7a0...***.com/forums/showthread.php?t=230417&page=2
JC is big headed *****. Froch has never made personal attacks on JC and in fact has said some good things about him. Froch is more ambitious than JC ever was when he was at a similar stage in his career and will probably take more risks and have bigger fights in his few defences of a respected world title.
My favorite part is when he remarked how Froch won a vacated belt, and how you have to beat a world class fighter in order to call yourself a champion. Joe had no problem calling himself a champ when he was defending that WBO title(which was vacated when he won it), against mediocre opposition.
in all fairness he did go and defend it against world class oposition. Buncy was less than optimistic about Froch landing a real big name i.e kessler/taylor next, which would be a shame. However, who else is out there for him? i think Bika v Froch would be brutal!
I doubt JC is worried as Froch asserts! Nor is he jealous... Also, Collins retired pretty much to avoid Calzaghe as is well known....which is why the Title is vacated. Manfredo was to raise his exposure in the States.... Froch is contradicting himself....a few weeks ago he was going on about a clash with JC being as big as Benn or Eubank, now he claims the recently defeated Pavlik is a far bigger fight! Truth is, I wouldn't mind seeing a Froch fight because its a domestic clash...however, I would much prefer to see a Dawson bout, far more important legacy wise and a far more deserving challenger.
Calzaghe = Hypocrite . There was no need to be so brutal and dishonest about Froch. If he did not want to fight him because his profile is to low then he could have just said that and left it there.
HAHA Im sure these 2 are the best of friends in real life. They are simply building up the fight to get public demand.
JC's just pissed off as Froch has been talking his name for years when he really was a ****ing nobody. Looks like he wound Froch up anyway by that telephone call.
