Calzaghe was still unknown in the US at the time of the Woods fight so its really silly for Calzaghe to talk all this **** now. He even said hiself that he would lose to RJ back than. If that ****** Calzaghe is so great, why didn't he do what Roy did and win belts in multiple weight classes insated of staying over in Whales and fighting creampuffs the majority of his career. **** Slappy Joe. If he would've fought Hopkins or Jones 5 years ago he would've lost...the same reason why he's running from Pavlik cause he doesn't want to fight an elite fighter in his prime. Calzaghe will only look stupid if he tries to engage in a war of words with RJJ. Jones will make him look absolutely stupid if they start the trash talk game.

 

Yeah but Woods was a Lt. Heavyweight, Slappy was a super middleweight. If that punk wanted to fight RJJ so bad, why didn't he move up to 175 and earn a shot at the title. And Calzaghe won the ring magazine belt against a 43 year old Hopkins...that don't mean **** o me. Let him fight Tarver, Dawson or even Glenn Johnson and than I'll call him a champ at 175....and I don't even think he beat Hopkins but thats just my opinion. He should've earned a draw at best.

 

Bottom line, Calzaghe disrespects Jones by saying that his need is FAR greater than his and that Roy, the guy we all know about, is playing nice guy, marriages and ****... It may be bad medicine to call out for Jones pride and bring the very best possible in him. But then Calzaghe never was a good talker outside the ring so I guess Roy will have to do all the promotion himself, actually like Bernard did. Oh well...
