Joe speaks the truth. Curry was gonna destroy Honeyghan McClellan was gonna destroy Benn Lacy was gonna destroy Calzaghe :hi:
Jones ducked him for years he says. More like Warren kept Joe away from all the big names and now there all old, Hopkins 43, Jones 39 he is letting him fight them
You must have been the only one on this board. American fans consistently overrate their own fighters and underrate foreign fighters.
Who will be the first to say ''I aint ever losing to a black man'' or ''I aint losing to no white boy'' ?????
Shame seeing that kinda horse**** coming out of Joes mouth. Though i suppose someones gotto spark some interest for the fight. Roys been ducking him all these years... good comedy that stuff.
I see this one as another fight that the people will see because there are no options available... Let's face it, both Joe Calzaghe ( who fought Bernard Hopkins) and Roy Jones Jr ( who fought Tito Trinidad as of late) are most likely to fight on the outside, willing to potshot each other and banking rounds as the busier/most effective fighter... There's nothing more to it, Calzaghe relies more on workmanlike performances and Roy Jones focuses on explosiveness, shifting styles and improvisation... Nobody is to snap the other's head back with haymakers, work inside solid and relentless to the body and pole-ax somebody. So why all the noise if not for either fighter's fear of being outperformed by the other's style? Pointless...
Joe Calzaghe: "At the end of the day .............................................. "At the end of the day .............................................. "At the end of the day .............................................. "At the end of the day .............................................. (my guess more than 8 times)
