who mentioned p4p elite and is there such a thing?

and yes i honestly believe he could if he made the jump up a few years ago rather than straight into a title shot late in his career.

i dont know if theres such a thing but im saying it like this p4p elite what i mean is hes elite in one weight class much like ricky hatton in junior welterweight is great but he puts on 7lb and is trash joe wouldnt be as bad but i dont think he would do very well at 175 maybe in his prime cause there wasnt much there but if the guys that are 175 now were fighting there then he wouldnt be able to even get a belt and in his prime if he would of moved up a prime jones would have schooled him i like joe ok i dont but hes an elite smw just not up there with all time greats from every division

im a joe fan (i was in las veagas and i am going to see him again in ny and loads of times before that) and i voted great boxer.the only reason he is not elite is because he hasent fought enough great boxers, but its important to say aswell its not all his fault for that reason.but life isnae fair.

I am a casual fan of his and would call him a modern but not an all-time great hich I think is an accolade thrown out far too freely these days. IMHO, all-time great refers to guys like Leonard, Ali, Hearns, Salvador Sanchez maybe even Mayweather. I also think Hall of Fame is a term thrown around far too easily these days but there you go...

Joe is an elite boxer. No doubt about it.

But compared to may other elite boxers, probably not as good.

he fought in a weak era just like jones jr did, not calzaghes fault but he could of taken the hopkins and jones fight a number of years back

Very good, fundamentally Joe does many things wrong however Joes greatest attribute by far is his intelligence....So fundamentally very good but intelligence wise he is elite
On a side note for the first time in his career his intelligence will be trumped by the master Roy Jones Jr
