    Wasn't that his nickname for a while?

    I mentioned that nickname in rec.sport.boxing once and some British fans gave me a hard time.

    Then I read he's really of Sardinian ancestry (which is where the Monty Python "Hide and Seek" championship was decided).

    yes that was his nickname which showed both sides of his mixed background

    the italian bit was becasue of his family ties to sardinia and the dragon bit was due to him being from wales

    he was also known as the terminator when he was a lot younger. oh dear. haha. thank **** he doesnt use that anymore.

    He could live up to the 'Terminator' name at one point though his KO record wasn't too shabby, funny as **** looking back at that now though!!
