Langford couldn't even win a title.

You'll cite racism or something for him being unable to do so, but that is no different than what happens to any Welsh fighters today, hence Calzaghe having to fight the slugish Hopkins of today in a mismatch of a fight rather than the fairly good Hopkins of the earlys 00s.

You cannot logically have Langford above Calzaghe.

He's a visionary and for the most part, he's correct.

 

Whatever you say. He never even fought for a legitimate title because of racism, and his resume is about 100X better than Calzaghe's, and that is close to literal.

Yes.

 

I'd rather not get into Langford with someone like you, but a fighter who fights all the best from LW to HW(the ones he didn't fight largely due to being ducked) is bound to have some losses, especially when a portion of the fights were thrown, which wasn't exactly uncommon in those days. Very common in fact.

 

Pre-20's fighters ought to be regarded in a different way and a different list.
