If Hopkins actually signs then the only hope of this fight being entertaining is for Calzaghe to fight awful, maybe to tie one hand behind his back and fight with his eyes closed. We might have a fight then.

See you in Vegas then. I would get a new passport first though.

A close fight with Wright is embarrassing.

Mundine would do something nasty to him right now.

You are going to pay money and use up holiday to watch Joe Calzaghe assault an old man?

I've underestimated Clazaghe in the past . No More. The best fighters there have been don't all come from the USA. JC is as good as it gets. Whatever age, Calzaghe wins all day long.

This guy is the business on an all time scale.

Calzaghe by decision. Hopkins is too old now to win against a top caliber fighter.

Kessler, in the mind of Joe, was a challenge. Much like Lacy's power was to be avoided. Much like he had to get Mitchell out of there. Much like doing 12 hard rounds with Eubank. Much like finding a way to win with one healthy hand.

A concentrated, focused Joe Calzaghe is unbeatable at this current time by anyone from 160-175lbs. However, that version would only come about because of the guy across the ring from him.

    Eye don't think so.

Do you realise how much Mundine has improved?

Since the loss to Kessler you mean?

Yes I realize how much - not nearly enough.

I'll bet the house that Joe doesn't stop him, but wins the decision.

TKO is possibly purely because of the punch output difference. And in Joe's flurries theres always a big shot in there every opponent says so.

That's the thing, he's not fighting just any opponent, and not one who's gonna wait at a distance and try to outbox him. He's fighting someone who will look to land a big counter, hold, and maul him, using dirty tactics to take him off his game. He will still win though, too mobile, too many punches.
