I think it will go one of two ways. Aa embarrasing loss for Hopkins, or an controversal SD to Calzaghe in an ugly fight... Nothing in between IMO

I've never watched Calzaghe fight. So take this opinion with a grain of salt. But I do know B-Hop is cagey and dealt well with the youthful Jermain Taylor. It will be close.

Here, have a watch. About as good as it gets from Joe.

    Thanks for that :good

I remember watching that fight in a bar in Spain with my Welsh Flag. Great memories.

Calaghe's handspeed in his prime was simply sensational.

Nothing much to analize here . . . it will be a boring decission for Bhops. JC is a busy fighter but he can't outwit Bhops and dictate the fight. Calzaghe will be taken out of his rythm because Bhops is gonna punch and move . . . punch and move all the time.

He got floored by an old bum with body shots, and that's as good as it gets?

I suspect Joe at this time and place will beat Hopkins, but if that's the best highlight Calzaghe fans can come up with then it's a sad state of affairs.

That fight was back in the day when Calzaghe was exciting and would trade with big punchers.

The punch that decked Joe was a monster right hook which landed flush on his jaw. I can tell you that it would probably have floored everyone else in the SMW division also.

Joe's a much better boxer than that these days but that was an entertaining fight.

I believe Hopkins will win by close UD. I think he's too smart and has the tools to capitalize on some weakness in Joe that no other opponent has been skilled enough to do. B Hop is a living legend who is underrated now because he was robbed twice against Taylor.
    BHop 8 rounds to 4.

Your a ****ing dick if you can't appreciate that.

    Do you even like boxing?

He got off the floor from a massive shot and landed about 20 power shots... what more do you want?

i think this fight wont be very pretty with alot of holding & clinching . i think it will go to the cards and see calzaghe coming off with the win by decision. it will a tuff fight for both men but i dont see it being very exciting with all the holding their going to do.

Hopkins can be a dirty fighter. I think there is a chance he'll foul out rather than lose.

Best guess, Calzaghe via wide UD.
