I think Hopkins will surprise us. He has a habit of taking people off of their game.

    This is really good analysis.

I agree Hopkins is going to try to make it a dirty fight.

He is going to try to pull out all the tricks to try to slow down Calzaghe's punch output. He will be holding, using elbows, whatever to try to frustrate Calzaghe.

Hops was able to do this to Winky. Winky's primary key to beating Hopkins was always his high punch output, he should have been able to win that fight based on activity. However, Winky was ****ing stupid and showed up soft and out of shape and Hopkins took advantage and won a close fight.

Calzaghe wont be out of shape like Winky was so Hopkins better have something planned out if he wants to slow him down.

You never know though, What happens if Hopkins goes dirty, drops the nut on Joe then all of a sudden finds a chance to worsen a cut. The ref may well have a massive part in this too. If we get a Golden Boy ***** who manages to ignore Hopkins cheating and judges who in the tradition of Las Vagas, do the scoring for a fight thats in their heads only, Joe may have a hard day at the Office.

I don't see Joe getting cut. Amazingly, he's still unmarked after all these years. Doesn't even have a flat nose.

My prediction is Calzaghe by decision
Calzaghes volume punching will be too much for Hopkins who will try every trick in the book to spoil JCs tactics with limited success as JC will adapt around any situation thrown at him.

I expect Hopkins to beat Calzaghe, this level of opponent is Alien to JC and at his age it isnt the best time to start testing new waters.

Hopkins hurts Calzaghe to the body continuosly. Low blows on Refs Blind side weaken Calzaghe.

Hopkins bullies him to ropes and roughs him up.

Calzaghe wont box, hes 2 macho for that.

    Please bet heavily on it.

The more money on Hopkins the better odds I get.

    Yeeeessss!!!!

Watch that Calzaghe interview... he's making the kind of promises that will get him in trouble vs. Hopkins.

"I don't want to make this a boring fight"

Worst mindset possible when you're fighting Nard.

"I'm not gonna wait for him, I'm gonna be chasing him"

Ouch! I can see Nard grinning.

Don't think Calzaghe will give Nard enough time to grin...:yep
