As other have said, Calzaghe is just all wrong for Froch. I just cannot see it even being a close fight on the scorecards. I think Prime 4 Prime you see a comprehensive Calzaghe win, 117-111/118-110 something along those lines.

In Calzaghe you have a very fast southpaw, with decent footwork, unorthodox style who uses angles, can fight on the inside and out, can take a shot, has plenty heart and can readily adapt tactics during the fight if plan A isn't working.

I just cannot see a way that Calzaghe cannot work Froch out, and loses. Froch's only chance is a lucky punch IMO.

    Froch would need a knockout.

Can't see that happening so Calzaghe on points.

Posted Froch points but meant Calzaghe points! AGH!

There isn't a possible way Froch beats Calzaghe IMO. Just way too busy for him.

    Scorecard something like 117-111

Same result every time. Calzaghe boxes Froch's ears off all night, late stoppage or wide UD.

Froch pretty much admitted he could never outbox Calzaghe himself on Ringside. Which makes me think he would go all out for the knockout at some stage and just get picked off and countered until the towel went in or the ref had seen enough.

Calzaghe would likely drop a round or two through stupidity, but he wouldn't be able to find a way to lose.

Losing to good fighters does not ADD to your CV...

Froch fought better fighters back to back, but he didnt beat them all...

Met Larry Merchant last night, asked him this very question.

He said he loves everything about 'Frock' but Joe would beat him. He also said Calzaghe-Ward would be a "true 50/50"
