Calzaghe Ward would not be 50-50.

Ward was gassing in the last 4 rounds against Froch. He would have had a nightmare with Joe's pace. and right hook.

As for Froch, he admitted himself that he would have likely lost a decision and his only chance would have been to land a great shot to take the Iron chinned welshman out.

Calzaghe's footwork would have given Froch kittens. Joe was continuely moving in and out at right-angles. Froch would not have been able to get set and it would have just looked like his timing was way off. I suspect you may well have seen Froch get cut up at some stage. Would have been great to see when they were both in their prime but IMO Froch did come a little too late for Joe.

As much as I love Froch and enjoyed to Taylor finish, I remember Joe being interviewed in the studio and saying.....

"After that, you really think this guy is in my league?"

And I found my self going well as much as I enjoyed that, yeah you are right!!!

I'm a big Froch fan, but he DID miss a lot of punches when finishing off both Tayloer and Bute. The reason he successfully finished those guys was because once hurt they weren't given a break to recover.
