At this time i voted for calzaghe to win on points, however maybe in a year or two when froch has improved i think froch would win. At the moment if calzaghe had one more fight in him i would want him to fight pavlik any day. If he had more than one in him, in a year or two i would like him to fight froch.

I haven't seen Froch improve much since his performance against Magee, to be honest. I don't expect he'll improve much in future either.:verysad

Hmmm...if you go by what dwilson really thinks, 45 people think Calzaghe would beat Froch and only 1 person thinks Froch would beat Calzaghe! 2 think it's a close fight that can go either way...

So...94% of fans think Calzaghe will win. 2% think Froch will will.

4 out of 35 want to see Calzaghe fight Froch next, even if it's Calzaghe's last fight. 31 don't!

So...11% of fans agree with Froch that this is the fight that the fans really want. 89% of fans disagree with Froch; they don't want Calzaghe to waste his time with him, especially if he's only got one fight left.

    Pretty clear, then, I guess.

...and something like 100% (purely a guess), think that Decebal has far too much time on his hands, if he can waste his time writing posts like this.

I cannot deny that I love scottish fighters like they are my own family.

However Max, you answered your own post about how Joe is arrogant when you mentioned him 'bumming' Hopkins. That was one of the worst things I have ever seen in a boxing ring, utterly arrogant & disrespectful, even Stallone was disgusted by his behaviour at ringside. Keep that silly **** out of the ropes, what is it with Hatton & Calzaghe? Both seem to want to be comedians inside the ropes now as well as outside, & the fact both were doiing 'arse' gestures to try & get big laughs makes me cold as an old school boxing fan.

I will always respect Joe the boxer, but Joe the man? after his arrogant antics against an ancient hopkins, I just want to see him lose now, as much as I wanted to see Ricky lose to Floyd.

Sorry, but thats how it is.

Ricky got taught his lesson, now Joe needs a similar lesson taught. Luckily for Joe though, hes too good a fighter to get his comeuppance in the manner Hatton did. Sadly enough.

& where did being a respected belt holder get Witter? Thats what Im talking about, it doesnt matter if you are Witter with a belt or Froch the mandatory, all of a sudden if you call out Hatton or his big brother Calzaghe the fanboys are up in arms, the fighters themselves sieze upon it & the big domestic clashes dont happen.

All I read for years is Hatton fans telling the world why he shouldnt fight Witter, & now the new wave of gloryhunting Calzaghe fans who invaded this place(where were they all pre lacy?) are doing the same. Calling Froch a joke for daring to call out Joe Calzaghe.

Froch is Calzaghes mndatory, therefore he has every right to want to share a ring with the Welshman who remember was VERY lucky to get decision over an ancient Hopkins.

As for your last comment which I chose to leave out, dont be so paranoid. I just speak generally from time to time, if I think you are not worth debating with, I wont be long in telling you, dont worry:D

Froch is no where near Joe. Unsure over Froch's chin so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say he'll go 12 rounds.

As for the fight happening - not interested. This is Witter - Hatton all over again. Calzaghe is on the world stage, a big name. He can fight legends and should do so. Froch will be found out along the way. I reckon Kessler could handle Froch.

    I love Joe fans !

Jesus on a bike - the guy was being called out by Froch about 18 months before anyone had noticed Jeff Lacy knock over some already-flattened opponents and pick up a vacant strap. Then a whole year later after an aborted atempt the American hype job gets proved to be just that - a hype job ! ...Lacy gets beat against Tsypko and then looks awful against the tit that is Manfredo.

Step forward Kessler, a man who beat a chicken-sh*t mundine and a geriatric Marcus Beyer before getting slapped for 12 rounds. Only Joe fans can elevate the man to god-like status in defeat !

I have no time for the Slapper or his cretinous little dad.

And i certainly dont buy the 'everyone avoided me' line either.

There are waaaay too many legit american names MISSING from his record and a split-win over a grandad Hopkins, several years past his P4P peak does not correct this problem.

Now i hear of another faded 1990's star in Roy Jones being lined up!

People can slag off the Cobra all day long as far as i care. He gets my respect because he wants the big fights and said it every day for 5 years. The guy has a dash of charisma... and is more entertaining to watch than those horrible nasty cuffing shots that the slapper threws.

"It's all about the money maaan" said Joe.

"Im more interested in the title fight" replied Froch.
