Calzaghe wide UD in a highly entertaining contest full of testosterone and plenty of Bravado from both guys.

Any version of JC from 1997 - 2008 beats the prime Froch.

JC could be a little sloppy at times so I can see him walking on to a few shots from time to time, but he's too quick really and has a more instinctive understanding of angles. Should be able to beat Froch on the inside or outside imo. Can't see what Froch could do to win this.

sorry I meant to put JC V Michael Watson. ****. Ive changed my thoughts

  6. Calzaghe will eat a few right hands with his trouble but would dominate Froch on the inside en route to a clear decision.

Fun fight though, Calzaghe might be the one to finally get caught with one of those mega uppercuts from Froch.

Joe slaps him around from corner to corner totally dominates froch and his lack of defence.

I dont think anyone seriously belives Joe dodged Froch, nobody at 168 was even close to Joes level when he retired and even now, several years later only possibly Ward would be up there based on his recent win.

Joe could of fought and beat Froch but it'd be pointless.

he also would of whooped Dawson but to be honest Dawson is irrelevant and people would of just used the "he was green" excuse.

For as much as JC was protected throughout his career, he was clearly the best at 168 for years and there was no one there left for him to fight before stepping up and beating B Hop (whos still a champ at 175 now says a lot), the RJJ fight was as big a fight to go out on as any even if it doesnt seem that way in hindsight. Who was Froch at that point in time?

I think it's would be alot closer than people think in the early rounds...especially seeing how JC fought Kessler...yes he adapted but Kessler had his moments and I see Froch also having some moments with JC who would have a brawl now and again......(Mitchell and Brewer) JC maybe going down in the first 4rds due to the battle of britain fervour vreated by the media and crowd....JC pretty much dominates every round from 4 onwards probably flooring Froch himself on the way to a ud.
