Could somebody please serve Joe a large glass of shut the **** up juice? Dude has been spouting off with opinions like he's Dear Abby or something.
Hes talking so much cos hes promoting hes new book lol- literally as in it might help sales and hes sitting down being asked all these questions at the site where hes launching hed dvd. dvd not book
I have followed Calzaghe's career since he beat Eubank, through the dark days of Frank Warren and some right dodgy title defense's to the promised land of international acceptance and megafight's with Hopkins and Kessler. I haven't always been his biggest fan but i stuck with him and was pleased when he finally started getting recognition for his achievement's. However, WTF has happened, he is starting to talk **** about every up and coming fighter that's mooted to be a possible opponent for him. Dawson this and Froch that, they ain't done ****, Pascal's not world class, STFU Joe your starting to look like a World Class Dickhead and your winy voice is starting to get on my nerve's. You are 46-0 World respected after year's of hard work and dedication, Dont start acting the legend on me Please..................................................................................................
He has a right to spout off I think. Floyd Mayweather Sr. does it all the time but no one cares what he says, he is doing it for publicity.
He's always been a **** talking old man...so it's expected. Calzaghe typically isn't this brave. Now he's acting like he's been through serious wars with people and fought the best there is to beat :bart
Forget that, he won a close but Unanimous decision and to be honest Dawson's resume with Johnson, Adamek, Tarver, Harding (to a lesser extent) is almost as good as Calzaghe's resume already and he's only 26!! If you compare that to Calzaghe's weak ass resume at 26 it looks like Dawson will be leaps and bound ahead of Calzaghe by the time their both done. I would say that Dawson as the best fighter in his weight class makes a solid claim for a fight with Calzaghe due to the fact that he's already accomplished almost as much as Joe and he can only do better, if Joe's the man he should be able to beat a good proven fighter in his prime which he has yet to do aside from Kessler who really isn't that proven and has a far weaker resume than Dawson.
If Joe doesn't want to continue on there's no need for him to belittle, insult, and character assassinate every potential opponent. He can just ****ing retire.
I think Calzaghe is angry. He beat two great fighters this year and he is not getting the aclaim he wants.
Joe is right about Dawson being lucky to get by Glen Johnson with a win. However, at least Chad fought Glen. Joe backed out TWICE from a Glen Johnson clash!
