Froch needed a late KO after being schooled and dropped most of the fight. Abraham beat down Taylor from the getgo. His win was better. I'd favor Abe over both Kessler and Froch. Froch isnt good at all.
Considering Dirrell had at the most lost 2 rounds and had a knockdown not called for him aswell, plus Abraham not landing a punch until the illegal blow, I can say that there was mre a chance of Dirrell winning a UD then Abe getting a KO.

Dirrell is a better fighter then Reid son, except it.

[quope]2. In honesty, the bit about the ringside journalists is something ive read on here so it could be wrong, but The Ring and Boxing News did score for Froch, that I read in both magazines. Peoples comments on ESB could be biased. But not likelt that Boxing News and The Ring are though.
60% of the Brit forum had Dirrell winning, what would they be biased about. If you never actually seen if ring side journalists saw Froch winning, stop parroting as if its fact. Thats how lies get started.

When has Dirrell closed up when being hit. He usually motors out of their or looks for a counter shot, the shot that dropped Abraham came about when Abraham was charging foward throwing punches.

You seem to make alot of arguments up as you go along that have no basis in fact. An old Bernard and Roy Jones caught Joey slap coming in, what makes you think that Dirrell wouldnt.

Slaps couldnt KO Reid or Lacy, how would he KO a fighter who is quicker, bigger and faster then those 2? Sorry, doesnt make sense. CAlzaghe is not a hard puncher at all.
The only thing Reid has acheived is winning a paper belt. He is not as good nor has ever beaten as good a fighter as Abraham. Saying REid has acheived more when compared to a guy who 1 fight ago was fighting his first 12 round fight is silly. Dirrell is still miles better.
[qupte]No Id say at SMW AA hits a bit harder than a prime Calzaghe
Abraham has KO'd legit fighters. Who did Calzaghe Ko in his prime of note?
Of course, doesnt make Calzaghe a hard puncher however.

When did Froch catch Dirrell with any consistency? I hope we dont have to go ove rthis again. You think Calzaghe hits harder then dirrell? Based on what? Speed is about the same, Joey likes to slap. The thing that would carry slaps in this fight is his stamina, thats it. In terms of ability they are near even, with Dirrell being the bigger fighter with longer reach. Dirrell s youth would be the only thing stopping him from beating Calzaghe. If Dirrell improves my prediction would be the same as it is if Chad Dawson ever fought Calzaghe, Dawson wins by whooping.
Who has Ottke beaten who are as good as JErmain Taylor or Miranda? And please dont bring up Glen Johnson who was a journeymen back then losing 50% of his fights.

Calzaghe, no contest. Probably by UD, but possibly a TKO.

23% think Dirrell would beat Joe Calzaghe

Dirrell would have retired with a PANIC attack by the 8th round!:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

Dirrell fights like a man who has been castrated. Joe had the ability to adapt to any style and a truly amazing boxing brain. The older version of Calzaghe who beat BHOP would have won a ud, the joe who beat lacy would have stopped him.

Someone said BHOP out boxed Calzaghe..no he didnt..BHop faked injury after injury, tried to cheat by getting Joe dq'd, made himself look a total ***** and then got "dry humped" and totally humiliated by Calzaghe in the centre of the ring. :good

Calzaghe by stoppage in 10. Dirrell would put a good fight but prime Joe could still crack and he's faster

Yes I can see Dirrell in utter terror that Calzaghe is going to slap him. :rofl

He couldnt stop Jeff Lacy yet he's going to stop Andre Dirrell who is more elusive, faster, bigger and took flush shots from Abraham and Froch without blinking ok.

Holy ****, where did Joey Slap fans get the idea this dude was a KO artist? Knocking out bums in Wales?

And between Bernard faking low blows, he also was beating Calzaghe to the punch, cut his noes and knocked him down.

Thats a 45 year old Hopkins btw.

Lacy had a better chin / heart than Dirrell :patsch Dirrell has more skill which is obvious but he is SERIOUSLY lacking in mental toughness. If you could transplant Lacy's heart and chin into Andreas body then I would say he has a chance yes..

And Calzaghe was past prime with smashed hands when he dry humped BHOP :deal the same bhop who school Pavlik..:yep

What makes you think Dirrell lacks heart? And why would he need heart against a featherduster like Slap. Dirrell took punches from Froch and Abraham and didnt blink what makes you think slaps who hasnt really ever stopped an elite fighter would stop Dirrell? Given Dirrell has been in with 2 of the strongest punchers at supermiddle and only been down due to an illegal defensless blow, what gives you the idea Lacy's chin is better?

I dont think Slaps was past prime, he finally fought a elite opponent instead of the Robin Reids and Woodhalls of the world.

Right now??? Its a toss up, but i would favor dirrell slightly...

Against a prime calzaghe...... no way dirrell wins, calzaghes style was ALL wrong for dirrell. Bad style match up.

Prime is relative. 36 was the age Hopkins had the most significant victory of his career. Calzaghe looked bad because Hopkins made him look bad, his speed and stamina was still there.

Im confused at when Slap fans think his prime was. When he needed an SD to beat Reid? LAcy and Kessler not that far removed from when he fought Hopkins?
