Ward doesn't have KO power which is a bit of a problem. Calzaghe had until brittle hands caught up with him. Also, Froch may yet beat Ward in the Super Six

Calzaghe's style gave judges every reason to score for him. Factor in the amazing work rate and solid chin, I don't see any of the above beating him.
(Ward and Dirrell have not reached their peak yet, so ask again in 3 years)

I agree with you on this, calzaghe in his prime some fighter
Beats all those on list, froch gives him most trouble but even with him I dont think he could keep up with the pace round by round a prime calzaghe and we are talking about prime when calzaghe didnt have as bad hands as he had in later career, he used to outwork and then knock out people before his hands went to pieces, when the punch power decreased he outpointed most and sometimes fought with a broken hand
    kessler fight was superb
I like ward also, but froch will have too much for him in final of super 6

When have you ever seen calzaghe "run" from his opponent exactly?

Calzaghe would have dominated any version of Pavlik through speed, angles, workrate and ring generalship. He would have no need to run anyway, as Pavlik would not have the power to bother him.

Joe would beat them all, maybe forcing a stoppage against Bute (he gassed badly in the first Andrade fight and Calzaghe would fight at such a high pace Lucian's stamina would be severely tested), and perhaps Pavlik on cuts. He would UD the rest with Froch and Johnson giving him the most problems due to toughness and awkwardness. Ward is good but still needs to do a bit more to prove himself as a really top class fighter, and I think his style is a bad matchup to Joe. A fight against Dirrell could be a little ugly and boring due to Andre's spoiling and running but comfortable UD all the same.

why is that is it because i dare back froch against ward?
Or that I actually watched a Calzaghe fight when he was prime on tv which many people who judge calzaghe havent done?

Other fighters i enjoy/enjoyed to watch Pac, Cotto, Barrera, Morales, RJJ, Tyson, Winky Wright, Pernell whitaker, JMM, Benn, Eubank, Hamed

Have a look at that list how many are brits compared to others :huh its not about them being brits its about the way they fight and the match ups etc
Im a fan of boxing it doesnt matter if they are brits, american, mexican, puerto rican it doesnt matter
My opinion is calzaghe beats them all
    Froch beats Ward
    ok with you? :good

My point is that you're British. Am I wrong? I'm not because if I was, you'd just have said "actually, I'm not British, so stfu"

My gripe is with you saying Froch would be Calzaghes toughest test. He clearly wouldn't be. Froch was outworked by Kessler and outboxed by Dirrell. Stylistically, Ward or Dirrell would possess the biggest obstacles for Joe.

And Ward will beat Froch pretty handy also. I'll be cheering on Froch, but he ain't elite. He was lucky to beat Taylor, he lost to Dirrell and he put on a fantastic performance against AA. Nothing special, but he's a real warrior.

You have something against brits then i guess ok thats your problem, im british but firstly a boxing fan
i Pick based on matchups with no prejudice towards someones nationality ok?
Froch would give calzaghe his toughest fight based on his stamina, his chin, and he hits harder than both ward and direll for instance
Its a fight I personally would love to see as it would have been fantastic test for Calzaghe and a defining one for froch (now frochs defining fight is the ward one as many have ward as best at weight) its going to be good to see froch also step up to LHW he is struggling to make weight now at SMW like Calzaghe did and I think making the move up now is good for him
Lost to Direll? :huh when exactly
Direll was awkward for froch but direll didnt come forward that much froch was the agressor throughout and the judges liked that

Abraham , Pavlik and to a lesser extent Froch would all be Jeff Lacy beat downs .

Dirrell and Ward have all the tools to trouble JC but lack the experience and smarts at this stage in thier careers .

The road warror would make Joe look terrible but he woiuld still squeak by on a narrow points win ( a la hopkins fight )

He lost that fight to everyone who isn't a Brittard. I couldn't be bothered going into it, if you can't accept he lost that fight, you lack the basic understanding of scoring boxing.

Dirrell has terrific athletic ability but he lacks the heart. Ward would give him a great fight. It wouldn't be pretty, but he'd make it competitive, still back a prime Calzaghe though. He was an animal. There's no denying it.
