Dirrell failed to get a decision against Caveman Froch. There is nothing on Dirrells CV that suggests he would beat Joe. Joe would prove a greater challenge than Froch, due to his much better speed and reflexes.

Ward vs Calzaghe is a 50-50. Both fighters are elite and have a very wierd style and are hard to figure out. Therefore it is impossible to know the outcome, no mather what ESB-posters likes to believe. If you want a reference, you could use Bika. Which one of them did a better job on him?

Keep trolling Boxrec for complete lists of the cherry picked opponents Joe fought. Posting this nonsense over and over doesn't change anything. Everytime you discuss fights before they happen it points out how little you know and how your bias destroys your ability to think. If you ever put money on fights your parents would need to triple your allowance.

Calzaghe would beat all, agree with other posters, he was special and particularly in his prime I really can't see any of the current super six beating him.

If Hopkins had fought a prime calzaghe at his natural weight, and especially with referee that could see it would have been alot worse for him. Joe in his prime was faster and a much bigger puncher b/c his hands were not so messed up.

The Dirrell comment, well, that's obviously a joke.

notice you were quiet for a few days after haye embarrassed himself. i'm sure you thought he won and you'll have an ATG thread for him soon. in my thread a few weeks back you said the ring ratings were biased towards americans and now you use them to support your argument. you are more of an embarrassment than your countryman, and that's hard "toe" do.

I'm sorry, but Froch would have been schooled by Joe. Froch's only hope would have been if Calzaghe gassed and Joe was no Taylor :deal He's right, Ward & Dirrell would have been Joe's toughest tests, although the version of Johnson that fought Froch would also be quite straight forward now, Glen has slowed down alot.....

umm this is Spot on.. Imagine a LHW or SMW fight with Calzaghe vs a slick counter puncher like Toney.. Im taking Toney by murder.. Truth is Joe style is busy similar to the Undefeated Pre Ruined Paul Williams.. Eventually that style holes will be exposed... Joe while nice in his Prime dosen't Win against Ward who is too versatile for Calzaghe.. Dirrell has the tools but not the heart to beat Joe... Glen Johnson Counters well too.. not sure he wins.. Ward has the best chance to win against Joe...:deal

I agree, he definitely has a chance. I'm sticking with Ward as I predicted he would win this thing before it started but Froch is much more dangerous than I originally thought. The ******* has a head full of granite.

Calzaghe would knock SOB Ward out!!! Ward is afraid of Bute, he would not allow Bute to fight in his own personal tournament in which he gets all his fights in his home turf, with his personal judges and referee, Ward gets to break all the rules, does not have to travel at all, while his opponent have to travel thousands of miles, Goosen knows how to cheat, just like he did with his fighter Williams who lost a fight big, but his personal judges gave him a gift, no surprise at all..................
