Based on the two fighters' last performances, who wins? How do think Dawson fares against Calzaghe?

Dawson demolishes Calzaghe: Too big, too strong, too young, too busy. Dawson is a natural LHW. Calzaghe is a natural SMW. End of story.

Dawson wins a close but clear decision. Dawson is stronger then Calzaghe and hits alot harder. And will the the fastest fighter Calzaghe has ever fought. And I doubt Calzaghe has anything that can hurt Dawson.

    Dawson, and rather comfortably too.

Dawson is the best light-heavyweight in the world.

It would be an interesting fight. Based on the fact that none of the top fighters he's faced ever seem to be hurt despite the lighting fast combinations he's continually throwing, I think Calzaghe has more power than Dawson, and definitely a better chin. However, Dawson's speed and combination punching does impress the judges. I think the person that beats Dawson (although I believe Glen Johnson did beat him) will need to bulldoze him and put him on his ass. I don't see Calzaghe doing that. He might equal or even out-land Dawson, but he's not as aesthetically pleasing to watch which will make it hard to get a decision. His win tonight was decisive, and his chin looked better than normal, but I'm not sure it that just shows how far Tarver has deterioted or not because Johnson and even Adamek had him rocked. I still believe Dawson's power and chin and still suspect.

Dawson by UD. He'll probably chase the winner of Jones-Calzaghe as it's a fight that will further his name and make big bucks, plus it's a very winnable fight. Calzaghe is losing any physical advantages fighting at 175, on top of getting older.
