It happens, you'll always have the usual Calzaghe nuthuggers who have no knowledge of the sport.

Calzaghe would win. Chad still has a tendency to fight in spurts too much, and doesn't like pressure- particularly when he's not allowed to rest when he wants to. Calzaghe doesn't hit hard enough now to stop Chad, but Dawson's not going to be shrugging it off and executing his gameplan, either. He'll have some success, but overall, I think Calzaghe wears him down and takes too many rounds by being more active and landing more.

    Joe UD 116-112.

Example A. There is no way in gods name that Calzaghe with his lack of defense and pathetic in and out mobility could out point Dawson who is better then him in every category but chin. Tarver is a big strong light heavy. Dawson had to look out for the one punch. With Calzaghe, he would just beat the **** out of him inside or outside. Destroy his body and just out fight him.

This is really a pick em fight with no real winner but I will say this Dawson to me is the only guy I think at the moment that can beat Calzaghe (For the record Dawson gained much experience in fighting johnson one of the better pressure fighters to date), and I do not believe Calzaghe hits hard enough to stop Dawson. What makes the fight so interesting is I do not think both fighters really fought a fighter like themselves which makes for a great fight.

You're a fool. Calzaghe doesn't throw a lot of power punches but he does have the option to when he chooses. Kessler admitted that Calzaghe seriously hurt him. Calzaghe destroyed Lacy and ruined him as a fighter and he would've KO'd BHop if the ref to didn't let him fake a low blow. I've never seen Dawson hurt anyone with one punch, but rather an accumulation of blows. I have yet to see Dawson stop or even hurt a top fighter. All I see is him throwing a bunch of fast combos that mostly hit gloves and outworking guys. And then once he gets hit with a solid punch, he gets rocked and starts running for his life.

Tell me the last time fighting 1 minute a round and taking entire rounds off has ever been successful vs Calzaghe. His mobility is superior to anything Dawson's fought, and so is his conditioning and workrate. If Dawson does fight at Joe's pace, he's going to gas worse than he did in the 2nd half of the Johnson fight- only instead of getting tired himself, that's when Calzaghe turns the heat up.

I'd love to see it though. Who knows? Maybe if Calzaghe looks more aged vs Roy, Chad will throw his name in that hat, too.

:lol: So basically what your saying is this is the first time you seen Dawson fight. This is the first time Dawson did not outwork his guy the full 12, you know kind of like he did all his other fights. Joes pace aint ****. Joe has no lateral movement. Bhop exposed his ass for not even having accuracy. Dawson was going against a strong hard hitting glen. Calzaghe has no power at light heavy. He did not hurt Bhop not once in the whole fight. Or barely ****ing land against a guy that throws less then 20 punches a round. You ****ing gumps.

Joe would humiliate Dawson, even at his advanced age. Chad could not cope with Joe's pressure or workrate.

Hands are too low, takes too many rounds off. Dawson's not in Calz' universe, let alone his league.
