Joe Calzaghe vs. Ezzard Charles at LHW

Ezzy..big LHW and solid as a rock.

 

Charles may be the greatest Light Heavyweight ever. Joe Calzaghe? not so much.

 

Roy Jones moved up to heavyweight and did well also, yet Calzaghe embarrased him. Im surprised everytime Calzage wins a fight because I feel hes gonna lose against bigger named fighters and yet comes out the winner. So I would have to place my money on Calzage.

 

you're comparing an old shot RJJ to a prime LHW Ezzard Charles? do you even know who Ezzard is? he's faced a ridiculous amount of hall of famers and was as solid as a rock. while calzaghe might have a few good rounds, Ezzard would be laughing inside at this "power" and the way Calzaghe keeps his chin out there is perfect for a straight right down the pipe

and we all know what straight rights to do Mr. Calzaghe :good

 

That's an absolutly ridiculous comparision, geez have we lost all touch with reality. Do we not know how to put fights & fighters in perspective? Roy fought one fight at HW with a subpar champion at a peek in his physical career....you mean to tell me the Roy that fought and traded with John Ruiz would have similar results vs Calz!!??!!................I take nothing away from Calzaghe but christ man...next thing you'll tell me is he would have starched Archie Moore and Spinx back to back. The nerve of some people.

Ive only ever seen Charles as a HWT vs Marciano & Walcott but from what Ive heard about him at LHWT, Id imagine he would be a HUGE favourite vs Calzaghe.
