Calzaghe moves up to fight Johnson after he knocked out RJJ.

    Who would have won?

I would put my money on Calzaghe. Calzaghe's hand speed and movement would be too much for Glen who I have a ton of a respect for. I see this as a dominant performance by Calzaghe and a shutout UD.

Calzaghe wins, but not without some hairy moments. Calzaghe was always pretty hittable (especially with right hands), and although Johnson wasn't a career 175 pounder either, he'd been living at Light-Heavy for a while by then and showed some decent power at the weight. At the very least Calzaghe would be made to feel the difference between taking punches at 168 and 175 if this was his first fight at the latter weight. Don't forget, as late as 2008 Johnson was badly hurting Dawson, then considered the whiz kid of the Light-Heavyweights, and if we're being honest deserved to win that fight on clean punching and effective aggression. No way Dawson deserved a win there, for me - draw at the absolute most.

Calzaghe was obviously a much busier fighter than Chad, though, and not as easily put on ***** street or intimidated into going on the back foot. He'll get jolted around a couple of times and cede some rounds, but I see him doing enough clean boxing against Johnson and landing flashy combinations against Glen's come-forward style to win a decision. Something like 116-112.
