Who wins between these two men using the undefeated Taylor before Pavlik and Calzaghe, assuming the fight was at 168. I doubt Taylor would try to use a catchweight, he doesn't seem like that kind of fighter. in 12 rounds who wins and how?

I believe taylor scores 2-3 knockdowns in the opening rounds because of his agressiveness but JC will eventually win by close but clear UD by dominating the final rounds.

A poor finisher with a stamina deficit against a strong-chinned, volume-punching fighter notorious for his stamina. I'm going to say Calzaghe.

    Calzaghe wide UD

Taylor's aggressive start will not be enough to stop Calzaghe, and his boxing skills arent up to Calzaghes standard as much as i hate to admit it

Taylor would make Calzaghe look stupid for a few rounds. He then does what he normally does and runs out of gas or finds a way to lose the fight.

I voted Calzaghe UD but really he could get a TKO, with Taylor's stanima issues you could see Joe hitting him about 20 times without reply in the late rounds and the ref stopping it.

Calzaghe gets schooled in opening rounds, and then with Calzaghe's superior work rate and Taylor's **** stamina Calzaghe wins the last few rounds. Calzaghe close UD.

    Calzaghe dont have KO power

so I dont think he can KO or hurt Taylor like Froch, Pavlik and Abraham.

Prime Taylor would win a couple of rounds before Calzaghe adjusts and punishes Taylor for his predictability.

Shame if people wanted to see this fight that Taylor demanded too much, as Taylor didnt want it until after he beat Lacy and had less options. Taylor fought Lacy before fighting Froch which would have been for the vacant WBC title
