31 of Rosenbloom's other fights were draws.Do you think Calzaghe could beat an atg LH likeJohn Henry Lewis,or Jimmy Slattery? Or Solid heavyweight contenders like Nova and Levinsky.apart from beating a 43 year old man what has Calzaghe done at LH?

God your a ****ing idiot. You really think if Calzaghe had 298 fights he'd have won 222 of them?
He was about 5'11 in height so would be roughly the same size as Calzaghe, and his opposition was way tougher. Throw in the fact that he outpointed 203 of his opponents and you have a real ATG boxer, who is badmouthed by idiots who no nothing about boxing before 1995.

This was the days before supermiddle, Maxie would've probably weighed less for most of his contests come fight night at LHW than Joe did at SMW.

More determined, much better trained, quicker hands, better workrate, better stamina, there can't be any other winner. Joe would outslap Maxie in every round of the fight.

Calzaghe would have won 298 against Rosenbloom's opponents, assuming his hands held up. I am especially sure of this given the exhibition type oppenents associated with records with such numbers.

His hands probably wouldn't though, which is the only reason he hasn't actually gone for 50-0 and the record number of World Championship defences.

What would Rosenbloom's record be againt Calzaghe's opponents?
    Loses to:
    Veit
    Veit
    Woodhall
    and
    Starie
    for a start.

Did you actually look at Mcveys post about who Rosenbloom beat? In fact, have you even heard of any of them?

If we are going to simply look at their records, Frazier beats Foreman, Ali beats Norton, Greb beats Flowers, McGovern beats Corbett. Taking only the cases where they met twice or more, to exclude fluke decisions.

    Only Jim Braddock.

You are just highlighting your lack of boxing knowledge here, by suggesting a list of unknown fighters is somehow evidence Rosenbloom could even compete with Joe Calzaghe.

No, you are highlighting your lack of boxing knowledge by not knowing who Mickey Walker, Ted Kid Lewis or Tiger Jack Fox are. Also to say Rosenbloom would've lost to Veit, Starie or Woodhall is laughable.

I think I will pass on any further discussion .If it didn't happen in the last 20 years it obviously is not valid.
