Agreed on that, but Calzaghe letting it all out and risk damaging his already damaged hands severely? Hardly the case:good
Dude you have an agenda, this is apparent from reading your previous posts......Despite not being as quick as he once was he is still as fast if not faster than Joe....aside from speed Roy has mastered something Joe doesnt have the slightest clue about.....TIMING and incase you're new to the sport....timing kills:deal and Jones is the ****ing timing master...... Thats great you think Joe wins on workrate...I can understand and respect that....so how about you show your fellow poster the same because ultimately we'll have to wait and see now won't we:good Cheers
And despite his age Roy is the most intelligent fighter in a few generations....just how long do you think it will take Roy to figure Joe out? a round maybe 2? Then Joe and you will realize that Joe can't fight how he wants as the counters will become a regular occurance
Calzaghe would probably win by UD, but maybe even TKO when Jones gets really tired and fights the whole round on the ropes and Calzaghe starts to throw with a little more power.
Roy Jones Jr. by UD (Clear & Easy) (Look for the LEAD right hand to be the key punch) Even a "shot" & older Jones, Has the style to beat a Calzaghe. Wish this fight Could have/Should have happened way back.... Joe don't have a K.O. in him. (I'd be surprised if he pulled one out) Calzaghe will be 10x more cautious agasint Jones than he was against either Kessler or Lacy (Which is incredible, IMO)
uh ok. jones is not faster then joe. and this will be apparent come fight night IMO . and what agenda:huh i like roy. i never critized him. he's truley an ATG. joe is no spring chicken either. but timing isn't every thing you jones can't puase time like he use to. his timing was always accompanied by his unreal speed and his his unbelievalbe reflexes that allowed him to hit peolpe at that point in time . so actually your assumption is incorrect due to the fact that you need to still have the speed anf reflexes to take advantage of those opening that he see's whe he no longer is at that peak. if it were the jones of old then yes but it's not even this older JOE CAL is not as badly faded. although he is not the joe that fought mitchell or viet. people are looking at jones as they did tyson b4 the lewis fight looking at the past and a recent good performance as proof he can be what he once was. :good
I understand where you're coming from and respect your opinion. BUT what if Roy does as I describe? I've criticized joe on this site before, but in all honesty Joe is a great fighter. With that said he is worlds beneath Jones in every aspect of the game. Sure Jones isnt the same but does he really need to be? Not in the slightest....Again Tays how will you feel if Roy puts on a clinic and shows the world what he has done time and time again?????? On a side note Roys timing and reflexes were godlike in their prime and even now no mortal can compare
if roy pulls it off much power to him will he no :verysad on another note i am really looking foward to this fight:bbb
