    Bull****, I saw that fight live you **** head. For one did I ever deny that DM beat Hill before Roy? I don't even remember mentioning DM's name. As a matter of fact I didn't even bring up Roy fighting Hill, I was talking about Hearns, and I didn't say Hill was prime when Hearns beat him, I said he was near prime.

    But since you are an idiot trying to twist my words to fit your crazy little argument, here it goes.

    Roy fought Hill not even a year after Dariuz did, who's win was more impressive? DM's or Roy? Hill was 33 when DM beat him, he was not prime there either jackass. Since you say Hill was prime when DM beat him, then he must have been near prime when Jones fought him, so using that logic Roy has a one punch KO victory over a near prime future HOF fighter? Were you not trying to discredit Roy? The general census it that Hill was way past it when he fought Roy.

    Btw, Roy's victory over hill was knockout of the year by ring magazine, that should help you decide who was more impressive.

    In fairness, smw was not a particularly prestigious weight class, it was a stepping stone weight. But thanks in large part, and ironically enough, to Joe Calzaghe, it has become solid. It was a case of big fish, small pond back then though. There were bigger and better fights out there.

    I never said he had a great amateur career, I said he had a good one. He was from a boxing family much like Mayweather, except none of Hopkins' family made it big. Hopkins started boxing at the age of 10 and had an excellent amateur record... I only brought this up because people say he had NO amateur career, and that is not the case.

    :lol::lol:

    Tbomb and I do not get along at all, I don't know why he would have been on my side, I would have to go back and look.

    I actually like Calzaghe and don't like to dog on him too much... I am only usually putting down his resume when Calzaghe fans are trying to put down Jones. Or Calzaghe fans are saying things I don't think are realistic.

    I think he is all time great though, great skills, great career.
