I'm quoting someone who made him into the star he was and the same guy you quoted when you rambled on about Joe chasing Roy and the offers they made ..

:patsch You may have such a point. Calzaghe entered the ring against Eubank, Mitchell, Bika, Brewer, Woodhall, Reid, Jones, Veit, Lacy, Kessler, Hopkins who were all top 10 rated and have all won world title fights.
Which is nothing compared to MW Golovkin who has beaten far greater comp at a lower weight :patsch
    Silly post

Made him into a star, agreed, and yep I mentioned about chasing the Jones fight and then you try and quote him when they are to be going to court and putting a point forward, but didnt note that he didnt win that court battle. You make it all too easy

    I don't know.

The Following is actually very good, IMO, for its budget, achieving quite a cerebral jolt of storytelling on a shoestring, though perhaps doesn't pack the punch of most of Nolan's later works.

It probably does pack more of a punch than Calzaghe, though, and is certainly less dull a watch than any of his bouts, in spite of its slow pace and its having been shot in grainy sixteen millimeter b&w. :hey

Depends, Calzaghe was at his best when he slipped off the lead right to create the angles and bamboozles his opponent with his unorthodox style, as he did in the second half of the Kessler fight. But you can nullify this at the source by simply going hand for hand with his jab and coming over the top, if you have the right style and power, which GGG has. Watch the first 4 rounds against Hopkins, it was only when Hopkins started faltering under the relentless pressure that the tide turned, and even then it was still close. Plus Calzaghe had the stylistic advantage over old Hopkins, he doesn't against GGG.

In other words whilst you are content to hang off Golovkins nuts, you can not back up any of your stupid claims about him, as there is no proof to back up your fan boy position.

You are about as bright as Gimperial, who cites F.W.A.N.K as a reliable source with which to slate Calzaghe. All one needs to know about that scum is Terry Marsh ( another unbeaten fighter like J.Cal ) allegedly shot it, but was NEVER found guilty.

What part of F.W.A.N.K. lost the lawsuit can't you understand you thick Murican knobhead?

This was in England, not the idiot wild west. The verdict meant EVERYTHING W&&&&en claimed was worthless. Much like you.

Now go and ask your sister to let you play with her dolls again, as it is more your thing.

And don't forget, keep looking over your shoulder for low flying airplanes.:lol::lol:

    Barry,

Why don't you go smoke some weed and make one of your rambling incoherent 'technical breakdown' videos about Calzaghe. I'd watch it.
