I wonder if when Joe wins you'll accept he is simply that much better?

No he's a boring **** & I've had enough of him. He got owned on the Lennox thread so now he's back to his safe haven of a Calzaghe back slapping thread.

MasterCalzaghe is slightly brash I must say. I'd compare him to an enthusiastic young child. He slips over and makes a clown of himself on occasions, but he will learn

You have not yet answered my question: Are you willing to take a lifetime avatar bet because I know Joe will win; are you so sure of your man?

 

I'm not saying Hopkins' is much better. They're both great fighters I just slightly favour Bernard. It's not a difficult concept to understand. If Joe wins I'll give him his due & say he was the better fighter on the night but, for me, it wont propell him in front of Hopkins overall because fighters are judged over their whole career not one fight.

As for the avatar bet, give me a break. If Joe loses you'll just dissappear.

I will brush up on 'Mad' Chad Dawson in due course. I've still got one Joe Calzaghe DVD left over from Xmas, and of course his best selling autobiography 'No Ordinary Joe'

Which Dawson fights would you reccomend, when I get round to it?

So I am to assume you are not wholy confident of Hopkins chances. very well, I understand. You know where I am if you change your mind and wish to publically state your belief that Hopkins' hand will be raised come fight night.

Back on topic though has anyone given any thought to the possibility of Johnson upsetting Dawson? If that happened how would it affect this list? Who would replace Dawson or would you like to see Joe and Johnson get it on considering their history?

 

True, I read that too but money is money and Johnson is known for upsets and the fact he will face anyone. I won't deny I do like Johnson, I never expect him to win everytime but he brings that air of unpredictability with him.
