We're also patiently waiting for Calzaghe's five best wins north of 168.

Dubace "The Ducker" *****. A racist that cant stand the FACT that Calzaghe BEAT Hopkins.
Live with it and accept it, or are you saying Hopkins was a hyope job also? Possible I suppose as he did choose to fight alot of smaller fighters coming up in weight, only he lost to Calzaghe :smoke

Listen to Floyd tell it like it is Ducker ***** 8:43

Utter_Cunt, you couldnt even post about boxing and are now hanging off of Exumspates nuts
M Nunn - a fighter that was heavily overated and lost to 21-13-2 S Littles :patsch
R Johnson - fought Toney to a SD  and had already lost to A George, what a loss
McCallum - How past his best was he when Toney fought him and it was debateable every time. Fact Toney couldnt win first time around. Still probably Toneys best win
Jirov -:lol::lol: Who did Jirov beat. Lets have Jirovs 5 best wins then
Holyfield - Now we know Toney has been caught using PEDs 2 fights later. Do you think Toney was clean here? Lets not pretend it was a prime Holyfield because it was far from. Holyfield had lost his previous fight and lost to the great L Donald straight after :patsch. In fact in Holyfield 6 fights prior he was 2-3-1 :patsch with the win and draw with Ruiz being very debateable.
Upper_Cunt totally dismantled once more. Now LLLAAANNNCCEEE, Lets see you reply with some boxing talk :D

He only had 2 fights above 168 dummy :patsch, and guess what they were both wins over American legends where Calzaghe fought away and beat them both :smoke

Toney, isn't he the guy that stopped Holyfield? A legit 4 time world champion heavyweight?

What a dud of a point. :patsch

Your hero, Joe Calzaghe, has a feeble top 5 victories, so I don't know why this is your eternal refuge, blabbering on about the top 5 wins of guys like William Joppy and Vassiliy Jirov to further your own bull**** agenda.

Calzaghe has a strong top 2 IF you scored the Hopkins fight for Calzaghe, which many people did not.

Thus, Calzaghe has 2 good wins on paper - Hopkins & Kessler.

    After that?

Weak. Very weak. (what were Jeff Lacy's top 5 wins anyway?)

2 good/very good wins and 3 decent/mediocre wins do not make a strong top 5. A strong top 5 is 5 good/very good wins, or some great wins and some very good/good wins.

Obviously Calzaghe has a better top 5 wins than inferior fighters like Joppy and Jirov, but his top 5 is absolute donkey-**** compared to his superior contemporaries:

    Manny Pacquiao
    Floyd Mayweather
    Marco Antonio Barrera
    Erik Morales
Oscar De La Hoya (if you are sane and scored Tito and Mosley II for Oscar)
    Roy Jones Jr
    Bernard Hopkins
    Evander Holyfield
    Lennox Lewis
    James Toney
Winky Wright (if you are sane and scored Vargas and Jermain Taylor for Wink)

Therefore, I wouldn't be going round using top 5 wins as a barometer of excellence if I were you. People in glass houses, and all that.

Top 5 wins isn't even a good barometer anyway, as many fighters only peaked and showed their true ability on a couple of nights. Shane Mosley doesn't have a strong top 5 wins, especially considering he didn't come close to deserving the decision in the second De La Hoya fight.

Is Shane Mosley a can as well then? :-(

Your point is, as ever, bollocks.

    :smoke

And by the way, do not understand what an H2H thread means anyway?! :nut

You don't assess a hypothetical h2h by evaluating either mans' top 5 wins you dud. It's a consideration of how they would match up in the ring.

Does Calzaghe have a better top 5 wins than Jirov? Unquestionably. Calzaghe has a weak top 5, but it's still much better than Jirov's.

However, that doesn't mean career smw and fleeting lhw Joe Calzaghe would beat career cruiserweight and occasional heavyweight Vassiliy Jirov. Not at all.

Calzaghe could NEVER achieve what Roy Jones and James Toney did at higher weights because in order to do that, you need to carry a punch that demands respect from bigger, stronger, tougher fighters. Of course Joe C does not possess that kind of pop. He could barely dent top 10 level smw's, and his punch had completely deserted him by the time he was fighting lhw's. :nono

Jirov outmuscles and eventually dominates him. Volume with strength and power beats volume without strength and power behind it. :deal

    Class dismissed, *****.

its great to see fragile popkins back, doing what he does best

    DUCKING THE QUESTION :rofl

taking banned anabolic steroids also helped jones and toney move up weights

though it didn't help hopkins and jones when calzaghe moved up weight and kicked their ass in their own back yard :rofl

cum guzzling tranny queen popkins pwned live on esb :deal

No, what I have done is shown I know the fighters, and you cant argue with these facts :deal

Calzaghes top 5 wins, in no order
Hopkins, Eubank, Kessler, Mitchell then a guess between Lacy, Reid, Woodhall. All very good wins. Lets see you debate it :smoke
