    Hahaha. Whats that :

Land wrist on the chin in round one.
Hold, spoil & pray for a hometown decision!!!

Maybe that is the blueprint BUT i think ward seems like a decent person, think he would more about himself than that!

It really isnt though, Froch, Abraham, Bika and Green are not A level fighters. Calzaghe beat the better version of both Bika and Kessler.

What you mean is the Mafredo stoppage was terrible, before hurting his hands Calzaghe actually hurt people.

Its not like it wasnt Manfredos fault, he just lay on the ropes and threw nothing covering up. That aint boxing.

If Calzaghe had fought had fought the exact same members of the super six that Ward had he would win every single fight and would have done it more impressively to boot.

No, what I mean is what I said.

The Manfredo stoppage was terrible. Almost nothing was actually landed. Of course Manfredo should have thrown back. But the ref should have seen that he wasn't close to being actually hurt.......at all. Either way, Manfredo probably shouldn't have even been in the ring with Calzaghe.

But, there is a video floating about of Calzaghe's stoppages throughout his career that is pretty alarming.

They were accumulation stoppages, but many of them are god awful, hometown embarrassing stoppages where the opponent wasn't really hurt either. And not exactly against great fighters either, but that isn't the alarming part.

For the record, Nazim was there for the fight but was not part of the preparations as he was recovering from his stroke.

I asked Nazim about that once before. So in fairness, his name should be omitted.

I would of loved to have seen this if both were in their primes. Both truly gifted fighters with contrasting styles. I think Calzaghe would have won but it wouldn't be easy.
