Carl Froch has an extremley poor defence. If he ever fought someone good, JC for example, who is an accurate puncher, then he is going to get seriously hurt.

Calzaghe aint accurate , he throws a 1000 punchs a fight but doesnt land a 1000 punchs , froch is way more acurate than calzaghe throwing lower amount of punchs but accuracy rate is higher , Cal zag doesnt relie on accurayc just a bombardment of punchs n hope they hit! but hey it works!

 

Hopkins/Calzaghe will be a decently close fight, you most remember Hopkins has never been blew out in a fight, even against Jones in 93, it was more of a sparring session that went in favor of Jones. Hopkins will be Calzaghes biggest test to date, his rough house tactics and great counter punching will slow Calzaghes workrate and frustrate him at times. This fight is a 60/40 in Calzaghes favor IMO, but Hopkins always does seem to beat the odds one way or another.

 

I would predict that more than 60% of real betters will go for Calzaghe on points no matter who they are supporting or what they wish to happen and that includes the thousands that are planning to make it to Vegas.
