It wouldnt be easy on Spinks part but i believe he would win and im a Cal fan.Spinks has too much advantage in size.He wold have beaten Jones and Hopkins aswell for the same reason.

    Spinks isn't that much bigger.

He was a light-heavyweight for most of his career, which is what Calzaghe likely would've been for a pretty long time, had the weigh-in procedures not changed.

What changed? They've had day before weigh-ins for a long while now.

Do you honestly think Joe C. could ever have been even a SMALL heavyweight? Hell no... Spinks was considerably larger, a MUCH bigger puncher and was probably more skilled to boot. Joe C. goes down and he goes down HARD in this fight.

Yes on Hopkins, No on RJJ. He wouldn't connect against RJJ most likely, and RJJ hit hard enough to hurt him. Neither Nard or Joe C. would be able to put anything on him hard enough to even make him cautious.

Spinks was fighting in the same day weigh-ins for awhile.

His aborted rematch with E.M. Muhammad just gave them another reason in addition to safety to change the weigh-in procedures. They lost a lot of money on that non-fight.

Spinks was just better regardless of size. The bigger frame adds to his advantage, but it isn't some huge size advantage. They'd both be @ 175 under those rules.

I don't know why kellerman is a boxing commentator. He doesn't know nothing about the sweet science. And his voice pisses me off.

I have that issue of The Ring too. Almost all of the predictions from the "experts" are ****ing abysmal. I'm sorry, but anyone who thinks Calzaghe could make the final bell against prime Spinks at lhw needs to check into a rehab clinic to dry out.

Maybe Calzaghe, maybe Spinks, but isn't getting a bit boring Americans making up threads so they don't have to accept how good Calzaghe was?

Why not have a thread would Calzaghe beat Godzilla? Even then I bet someone would say a prime Roy Jones would win!!
