    I do think Calzaghe is more than capable of outpointing Ali. Different eras of boxing and Ali, being a massively famous, is overappreciated by almost every one.

    Nothing aweinspiring about him at all as a fighter. Calzaghe would just outwork him, pepper Ali and his overrated defence with many, many punches, taking most the rounds and unlike Foreman, Calzaghe would not tire.

    Mario Veit has a longer reach and being a SMW was faster than Ali and guess what? He could barely land one punch. Ali too would have huge, huge trouble hitting the elusive Calzaghe.

    P4P though it isn't even close.

    Only a KO artist is beating Calzaghe, and Ali is not one of those.

    I really don't see what was wrong with what I said in my thread, in fact most people agreed. In a P4P fight Calzaghe would defeat Ali.
