calzaghe doesn`t look good show boating, but it was jones he was fighting, how many times has jones showboated???? and any rematches would be a waste of time, they had there shot,so if joe wants one more it needs to be some one who he hasn`t fought as they deserve a crack too, perhaps dawson at cardiff.
when Roy does it to folk that shouldnt be in a ring with him, its fine, when Hop did it to Pav, its fine, when Naz did it or when Joe does it they're ****s. ****in place is filled with hypocrites. Roy had no problem doing it with Joe for the first 4 rounds, Is he a ****. Or is 4 rounds the limit?
Bernard Hopkins should get a gang together of old school fighters, and hunt down Joe Calzaghe. Burn his village down in wales, it was clear early on in the fight that Roy Jones was going out on his sheild. Did James Toney, Larry Holmes, Lennox Lewis...did they try to disrespect Evander Holyfield, Muhammad Ali, Mike Tyson in their crossroads fights..? No. Because fighters have a ingrained respect for each other..
Couldn't be bigger than Jones, who took the **** out of every opponent he fought agains, showing them 0 respect, and who showboated like mad, twice as bad as Calzaghe ever has...
there's a big difference between dancing and show boating and trying to walk to Roy Jone's corner and talk to him. That is disrespect, listen i liked Joe Calzaghe..but he was a **** last night.
Oh really? You pricks amaze me. Calzaghe could carry on beating the up & coming yanks for another ten years & fools like you would still put on a serious face & reckon that the next unproven up & coming Yank would kick his ass. Grow up.
Calzaghe dominated Roy and beat him up. He knew he was putting on an unbelievable display of mastery and genius and was feeling the joy of doing so. To do what he did against a still cocky and confident and very capable Roy Jones like he did last night was historic. Joe was inspired to be in The Mecca and gave boxing fans a performance to remember. And he had fun doing it. He out-Roy JOnesed Roy Jones in every way. It's a shame Roy's fans can't appreciate the genius and mastery of what Calzaghe achieved last night. A truly amazing incredible display of the art of pugilism in it's highest form.
