Lets say Joe Calzaghe beats Mikel Kessler very convincingly, ie a career best performance. Then he beats Bernard Hopkins in a comfortable Unanimous decision. Then retires. Where is he in your all time great p4p rankings?
LOL, he is not top 100 of all-time. He would have a very strong case to be top 5 in post WWII Britain though. Calzaghe came five or so years too late, no one but the hardcore has heard of Kessler, I suspect he struggles to be a household name in his own house. If Joe was around in 90 to 95 he could of fought prime/near prime Benn, Eubank, Watson and Collins, and that would of meant more than beating Lacy and Kessler IMO.
I thought this was the Classic section of the forum????????? Stuff like this will only serve to drive people away.
