You think Khan is better? Showing yourself up if so, he's not even as fast. Khan has already been down as many times as Calzaghe was in his entire career. He lost 6 rounds to Maidana. If he had been deducted a point for his head butt at the end of rd 6 (which was at least as bad as Maidana's offence) it would have been a draw. He's been KO'd by a journey man. As for Lewis he was a fantastic fighter but Calzaghe was better p4p imo due to the fact he never got KO'd by poor quality fighters. Pacquiao and Mayweather rate higher no dought.
:huh He had not long turned 43... that's not what i would class as LATE 40's. Previous to that fight he ran Taylor very close twice and beat Tarver and Winky. Prior to their fight he beat pavlik and gave Pascal a very good fight... don't try and make out like B-Hop couldn't fight anymore because he was past 40
Calzaghe was by far the most talked about fighter on ESB for about 2-3 years. That says a lot considering he doesn't do loads of interveiws and crave the lime light. I honestly think a lot of people hate him because he does not play the tough guy role outside the ring and he was unbeaten because people always want to see someone lose their 0. RJJ was better prime for prime, not much but his punches carried more pop and he was physically stronger. He beat Hopkins inbetween two some of his best performances. Hopkins has never looked better than he did in the Tarver/Pavlik fights.
He'd go close to top 5, definately top 10. For sure the greatest white anglo boxer in the last 20 years. Anyway, all that matters is that he was voted 3rd greatest fighter of the decade 2000-2010 by the BWAA ahead of that racist bitter snaggle tooth Hopkins
