Its been confirmed that he avoided Johnson and did'nt want to fight Lacy:deal So if Sven Ottke admitted he was given a few robberies and actively avoided Joe I'm sure you would gain a new level of respect for Ottke :rofl
If you don't think Johnson would bother Calzaghe you, you shouldn't ever be taken serious Vooh. Johnson is stronger then Calzaghe, and @ 175, very likely the heavier hitter. Johnson, like Joe C, throws a lot of punches. So Joe will get hit a lot too. And if johnson can handle Jone Jr's power and speed @ 175, I see no reason Joe, coming up from 168, would bother him with those attributes.
2 things..if ya read Pharohs' post around # 99, he is accurate...also,mine around 176-77...I said it would be a tough fight, but Joe was faster, and moved much better...hen Foreman fought Ali, George was bigger and stronger, as he was vs Jimmy Young = OOOPPPPSSSS!!!!
Talking technology, UK is ahead p4p without a doubt. Boxing talent, look at the olympics beotch, UK has the better amatuer programmes. :deal
Not to change the subject ( not much, ha ) What do YOU. Mr Magic, think will happen should Mayweather SR train hatton?? any difference? ):think
We're already off topic drvooh:good I've seen Hatton as an amatuer and I was always impressed by his boxing ability. Even in the early stage of his professional career he boxed beautifully, used that jab effectively, popped good combinations and kept active. I actually expect "miracles" in his defense.. his head movements will get better, he will have overall better movement (Hatton actually cut the ring on PBF, he only forgot to use his headmovement and keep his guard up!) That being said I think that Hatton would rule the 140lbs division with or without Floyd Sr, but Floyd will definitely add other dimensions to Hattons game though. Floyd Sr is an under rated trainer, perhaps one of the best today. I rate him in the same league, or even slightly better than Roach, Beristain, Muhammad. But I should point out that Hattons lifestyle will get to him sooner rather than later, like Beristain said, its not only what you do in your training camp that counts, it's what you've been doing the last year or so. And Hatton has had a terrible year, it might show against Malignaggi... I seriously doubt it though, Malignaggi offers nothing that Hatton hasn't seen before.
