If Joe Calzaghe hadn't been protected by Frank Warren all these years and actually faced the BEST fighters around.. (like Jermain Taylor and many others do) what would've happened to him? :think

around spring/summer 2007 when taylor was fighting cory spinks joe mentioned jermaine taylor and how him and warren wanted taylor next, what did the fans say....

    stop ducking kessler.

    jermaine taylor is mediocrity personified.

what would have happened had joe beaten glencoffe..

big deal, he already lost six times at super middleweight.

    :dead

Nah they're not dumb.. but I would still say that Calzaghe's resume is weak.

Looking at a guy like Jermain Taylor that fought Pavlik x2, Hopkins x2, Winky Wright and others while at the same stage of his career Joe Calzaghe fought guys like Omar Sheika and Mario Veit x2.. it just makes me wonder, why was he even more protected than a guy like Hatton? :think

Also, if Joe LOSES to RJJ, unlike you HATERS...I won't make excses like the rest of you do when Joe wins...You probably thought he'd lose to Lacy in 2006...SURPRISE, SURPRISE:rofl

Well Magic if his resume is weak just how should he be classed above everyone else when the only prime fighter he's beaten was a prime Kessler? No need to wonder:-( These people are blind dumbasses

Glen struggled with the massively limited Woods. He is a tough bugger though. He would have given Joe a very tough night but not as tough as Hopkins.

I actually liked Joe back then.. but now that he's become his own manager and is blatantly ducking Pavlik to go after a former shell of Roy Jones.. I am furious. I am praying for the hopeless underdogs of this years 24/7 edition (Roy Jones and Manny Pacquiao). If there is a god, then RJJ and MP will score huge kayos :smoke

I'm a Kessler fan, but a prime Kessler as your best win is not an ATG win.
    Kessler is over rated:deal
