...beating a washed up legend in Jones Jr., a split decision against BHop, and a win against Mikkel Kessler (who easily lost to Ward)....He needs to come back

It's Joe's own fault. If you take the easy route, this is what happens.

Everyone knows that a legacy lasts more than a career, and that people will always talk about you long after you're gone. Surely the best thing you can do is remove the obvious question marks that may possibly surround your achievements. Making repeated defences against tuna cans at home, whilst the p4p talents like Roy and Bernard are sitting across the pond, I'm afraid does not dispell those question marks.

It's simple, if you fight the best and beat the best, then your legacy will safely be solidified without any doubts what so ever. Just ask Manny and B-Hop, they'll tell you.

He needs to come out of retirement and fight Ward, Bute, Froch and Abraham ;)

Calzaghe nuthuggers are probably the worst out there. To be fair there are a portion that know their boxing but there is that percentage that know **** all about the sport.
Who gives a **** if he is undefeated!! Sven Oktte was ****ing undefeated big deal!!
If you dont fight top fighters available at the time, at their best it means sweet FA having a zero!
The best fighter he fought was Hopkins who is well past his best and still Knocked him on his arse. And dont get me started with Kessler aka Robot and Lacy aka one punch merchant, oh and what about a washed up Jones.LOL. ****ing BS.

Being undefeated does not make anyone a legend alone.

Totally agree. Evander Holyfield sucks too. I mean think about it, lost to Micheal Moorer, who couldn't even beat an OAP George Foreman, so he must have sucked too. Mike Tyson must have been really bad because he lost to Holyfield twice. Larry Holmes was even worse, since he lost to Tyson. And Muhamed Ali was totally taken to school by Holmes, who couldn't beat Tyson, who couldn't beat Holyfield, Who couldn't beat Moorer who couldn't beat old George Foreman, so he must be the absolute shits.

he would not stop Ward. He might beat all of them, but i only see him "schooling" Froch.
