All trainers slap the pads forward. Just admit Calzaghe had some of the best handspeed of all time, second perhaps only to Roy. It's no accident that he beat all those guys. He had legit physical and boxing skills. He just never tested himself like he could have. I think Hatton had the physical skill as well to be great, just never learned the technical skills to move his head or protect his chin. Physically he had equal speed and power to Floyd, equal footwork, but lost on technical skill.

2:20 very very fast he moves well he punches fast his punches sound crispy & hard therefore even so they are fast, the are hard also he is amongs the best pad worker ever, sure!!! the best is maybe a prime sugar ray leonard or roy jones jr.
Always a funny character Joe. You can see he trains on the pads in the same way he boxes, rather than the for show Mayweather routine. From outside the ring Joe always did so much 'wrong' in many peoples eyes, but yet no one could figure out how to handle it when standing across from him. Great talent, trained by a man who never boxed or trained as a trainer. Enigmas can work.
JC is an arm puncher. He doesn't throw punches with his body. The testament to this is his incredible KO %.
:good Exactly that, the pad work was incredible and 46 fighters found out just how good it was as they got a loss on their records from it
so Mayweather isn't fast Everything in boxing is muscle memory son. That's why trainers drill techniques in over and over
Calzaghe is not only a fast puncher, but also a very hard puncher. Look how he punches harder than Froch and Evander Holyfield. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qUTGQ47Qwrs[/ame] The machine doesnt go any higher :smoke Pwned the haters
