Who has ever complained about Calzaghe's inside-of-glove punches? It had never been a big problem from his side But even if you don't consider Allan Green much, then remember that Kessler still beat Froch

How come Jermain Taylor beat Hopkins? Was it because of all Jermain's skills and slickness? Or was it because he just out muscled and out worked the smaller, older, slower Hopkins? Hopkins stamina hasn't been the same for some time and you can watch several of his fights and see him fade. Even in the last rounds against Ornelas he was tired as ****.
Outboxed? Is that what running in chin up in the air arms flailing about. Yeah that was boxing 101 that night.:nut
And if we go back to a younger Bernard, we can see him gassed and looking lucky to hold on against Segundo Mercado in 1995. 2 can play at that game. He lost to Jermain Taylor, because as we've seen in Bernard Hopkins career, whenever he's faced a fast 2 handed fighter at a fair weight, he's struggled and gotten beat. There's a reason Hopkins turned down a career high payday ($3m) to fight Joe Calzaghe in Vegas in 2002.
That you don't like the look of his punches doesn't change the fact that the punches were effective enough for him to confidently beat Hopkins without any trouble?
atsch WOW it doesnt help when you use his win over totally shot RJJ to try to explain how great Calzaghe is, that says something about his record!!! There is very very long list of fighters that would KO that RJJ!!!
Andre Dirrell arguably beat Froch too.... Jermain Taylor whooped him for 11 rounds. Froch is good and so is Kessler. But beating them shouldn't make anyone a hofer unless you are from Wales and in that case you're the GOAT.
