Joe Calzaghe's thoughts on Roy Jones throughout the ages

Thick is too kind a word to descibe that moron Popkins. Ive been trying to explain the difference between a year and a decade to that imbecil, and after many attempts that frail mind of his still cant grasp the difference :nut.
Im starting to think about putting these trolls who cant debate boxing on my ignore list :-(

i hounded fragile popkins off esb for a long break earlier in the year through persistant pwnin and its only a matter of time before this disgraceful hbo puppett takes a months leave again, where he will use that time to lick his wounds, re-cuperate, and perfect his deepthroating technique that he frequently perfoms on transexuals :dead:-(

Yeah, that is true. I know he was considered a slapper because of his punching style but he was acclaimed as a puncher.

Just to disagree with Eubank, the hand injury he suffered was in 1989, I think, and from that moment, his punching style had to change. Even punching the way he did, he suffered injuries throughout his career, in training and in the ring. I don't think his style was the reason he got injured but rather his injuries caused his to punch like he did.

There's a good little piece about his punching power in the June 2009 issue of The Ring. They talk about how he became a non-puncher because of injuries.

Regardless though, we can all agree his injuries changed his style a lot. It'd be interesting to see how he would have got on without those injuries.

I thought his win over RJJ was impressive. It's the way that he beat him. He out-Jones'd Jones Jr. He beat him and toyed with him in the center of the ring. Even at that stage in Roy's career at the time... fighters were getting beat to the punch and Jones looked really good in the center of the ring.

 

No, I think YOU can do better than that lol. If you like transexuals then fine but you bring them up too much. Kinda........creepy.
