Sorry mate had to cut down that sentence short too:lol:

This is not what we were/are disputing about, you claimed Calzaghe/Manfredo is the bigger fight than Froch-Kessler II, I disputed that. Now to salvage your initial statement you are talking about the attendance in the arena, but from the looks of things Froch-Kessler II is getting more hype than Calzaghe/Manfredo did.

Fact is, crowd attendance in the arena does not always make it a bigger fight.

    Are you trying to say:-

Calzaghe VS Manfredo was a bigger fight than Tyson vs Lewis.

Calzaghe vs Manfredo had 35000 spectators in the arena while Tyson VS Lewis had 15327 spectators in the arena. Now by your logic Calzaghe vs Manfredo is bigger than Tyson Vs Lewis.:lol::lol::rofl:patsch

Well Ward is the number 1, and he still wont be able to generate the money Froch and Kessler are making.

You mean you got scared, and owned, and didn't have the courage to attempt to answer because it was irrefutable. Maybe later on I will bring those posts that you avoided as they have not gone anywhere and the points I made still stand till now unblemished.

Good to see you mention Ottke, a rival SMW world champion. Now look at what you said earlier:-

Both Ottke and Calzaghe were undefeated, so did Calzaghe beat "all his rival SMWs before moving up?

    The answer is no.

Now you have changed your statement from "all his rival SMWs", to "his main SMW rival". :hey

In 2007, Joe fought Kessler in front of 50,000 fans.

In the same year, Floyd fought Oscar in the biggest grossing fight of all time, in front of around 17,000 fans.

They were the main rivals and beaten soundly when undefeated.
Thats what you have to accept, and enlarging letters etc doesnt change a thing and just shows your frustration

Calzaghe must have considered fellow feather fisted eurochamp Ottke to be a dangerous fight :verysad

    Further Pwnage - Part 3

    This content is protected

Calzaghe vs Manfredo had 35000 spectators in attendance at the area, more than:-

    1. Tyson vs Lewis (Less than 16000)
    2. Calzaghe vs Lacy (Less than 20000)
    3. Mayweather vs Oscar De La Hoya (Around 17000)
    4. Carl Froch vs Andre Ward (Less than 6000)
    5. Pacquiao vs Marquez III (Less than 17000)
    6. Calzaghe vs Hopkins (14213)
    7. Cotto vs Margarito II (Around 18000)
    8. Felix Trinidad vs Oscar De La Hoya (Less than 12000)
    9. Hopkins vs Hoya (15672)
    10. Lewis vs Holyfield II (Around 17000)

I have listed there 10 fights that were bigger than Calzaghe vs Manfredo, but just because Calzaghe/Manfredo had more crowd around them you think that Calzaghe vs Manfredo was bigger.

They were his main rivals (according to you), not all the SMW rivals as you claimed earlier, and not all the SMW world champs you claimed earlier, however take a look at Arcane's post below as it is related to the pwnage you have been receiving.

    Which is a good point:-

Calzaghe considered his fellow feather fisted eurochamp Ottke to be a dangerous fight, so there is further proof Calzaghe never beat "all his SMW rivals".
Fact is this, Calzaghe never beat all his SMW rivals as you claimed, and he never beat all the other remaining champs as you claimed.

No never said it did :huh.
Just seems like you are looking for a way out by trying to alter what was said and meant.
Still it shows how sad you are to have to do so much research on a point that you are debating with yourself over

Ottke was retired when Calzaghe moved up, so once again you are spending time trying to indirectly avoid the posts.
Kessler was calzaghes main SMW rival before Calzaghe moved up and that is who Calzaghe fought and beat.
Odd that you think Calzaghe was avoiding Ottke. Do you genuinly think that? This will be good :patsch:yep

    So you admit:-

    1. Froch vs Kessler II will most likely be a bigger fight than Calzaghe vs Manfredo
    2. Calzaghe never beat all his SMW rivals

That is all I wanted to hear, good lad.:good

Calzaghe became a super champion after he beat Brewer. He could of moved up and fought Darius.M anytime from 2002-2003. He only thought about using it after Darius.M lost to Gonzalez and even then he still refused to move up.
