Toney would have smashed benn and eubank . Do u even know wat u are talking about. Toney woukd have beaten them both on the same night. As i said before there are levels to this **** and bkth roy and toney are on a diff level to eubank benn and joe. Benn got lucky with the mcclelllan fight he was getting smashed the fight should have been stopped.

    What levels are you talking?

    SUPERMAN ROY?
Toney below him after their fight and then the British and Irish boxers?

Nigel Benn was never the same fighter after the McClellan fight.
That war decimated Gerald physically & destroyed Nigel mentally. Knowing his punches caused the devastating damage to McClellan broke Benn's spirit

    Why did Eubanks say this?

"Lets use Roy Jones as an example. When people asked me why i wouldnt fight him, I would say to them, `Never mind the title or my job, a fight like that could take five or six years off my life.` I was well aware of that. He was, pound-for-pound, arguably the best fighter on the planet; in regards to his style, his devastating punching ability, the whole repertoire, he had it."

Some of your Mericans seem to think Roy is a god!
When he merely only fought at American Domestic level and hardly EVER on the World stage.
Yes. There is a much larger World outside of the bubble you call home full of talented boxers.
Roy never wanted Benn, Eubank, Collins, Calzaghe, etc...

Also, when did I say Collins was better than SRL? Stop putting words in my mouth to make your argument sound better.
It sounds like a desperate ploy to defend your "God" to me.

Why did Chris Eubank who's known for his humbleness respect Roy Jones?
    :/
Eubank never trashes anybody, he even respected Benn before their bouts.

Roy never chased fights with ANYBODY outside of America.

Collins wanted the fight. Roy ran to LHW.
These are facts btw. You may have thought Collins was over the hill. Many boxing fans around the World thought Collins would give Jones a good fight.

I personally thought he'd beat him with his come forward non-stop style.
After Joe emerged with the same aggressive style I thought he'd beat Jones also.
Toney was a defensive boxer. He was in the Eubank Mold. The Benn's, Collins and Calzaghe were different fights altogether.

Heres the British documentary, showing that in the late 90s Jones was considered the best fighter in the world.

And "experts" talking about how Jones would have beaten all the British fighters (and Collins)

    Includes interviews with the fighters.

The notion that Roy "ran" to LHW(Where he convincingly beat 2 guys who beat Collins) to avoid Collins is frankly histerical.

I grew up watching Collins. I went to the pub as a kid with my dad to watch him fight Eubank and Benn, but even Im not deluded enough to think Jones "ran" to LHW to avoid Collins

    This was in the 90's?

Ask Richie Woodhall(Today) if Calzaghe would have beat Jones in his prime.
Woodhall never faced Eubank, Benn nor Collins to judge their ability compared to Jones.

Woodhall himself states he won rd 2 in his fight with Jones
Eubank, Joe and Collins would have won rounds too. Because they were all superior to Woodhall.

Yeah I remember when Hopkins asked him that, it was comical. Calzaghe kept shamelessly chasing him and yelling "Can you beat Kessler!!?", "Can you!!!???". I was surprised he didn't ask him if he could beat Pudwill and Sobot.

Are you talking about their amateur fight when they were kids?

Seriously, watch the documentary. If you really think "Europeans ranked Benn, Eubank and Collins ahead of Roy" afterwards, then I dont know what to say.

Ther own COUNTRYMEN, didnt think they could beat Roy!

A few in this Docu said they favoured Collins.

    They're not all pro-Jones.

I must have missed that part.
Outside of Collins himself, I dont think anyone else thought he'd actually beat Jones.

"giving him a tough fight" isnt saying he'd win.
