There has to be something in what Frank said though?

Frank said that he and Enzo had to talk him around.

    A few things to consider:

Frank would never have talked him into taking such an important fight, had he genuinely thought that Joe was injured. That was the biggest fight of his career at the time, with the whole of the U.S. watching. So obviously Frank didn't believe him.

I've heard Enzo state that he didn't care how big a fight was, or how close it was to a fight, if Joe wasn't fit to fight, then he wouldn't let him go through with it, and he'd pull him out.

To my knowledge, Joe and Enzo have never disputed what Frank said.

So questions need to be asked.

In that same interview, Frank said he was the greatest talent he'd ever worked with, but he had confidence issues.

    Bailey,

Do you agree with Zod, regarding Benn's fights with Collins?

I don't see why you value those wins so highly?

It's not good when I'm asking to borrow her phone to look at my replies, when we're out having tea in a nice restaurant.

There's plenty of girls out there, but only one forum like this one.

    Ha! Just kidding.

I dont think the first fight was clear, I think it was debateable and Collins was the fighter who was in more trouble in that fight. Very close to me

Not sure what you are trying to say really? As said Calzaghe was an injury prone fighter. I just read it that injured or not, he wouldnt get another opportunity like the one he was given, so had to go through with it

I dont see how a world champ losing a debateable SD to a fighter who gave the champ a tough fight previously, and who would go on to become a world champ at the weight again even after, suddenly equals a shot fighter. Thats ridiculous.
If G Johnson had of retired 10 fights after Hopkins beat him, where he would have lost another 6 times and only won another 4 times, with his last 4 fights all losses, people would call him shot.
Do you not think? Answer honestly.
As for this shadow. I havent heard that before and that could be anything. Take the J Murray or W McCullough situations into consideration, who were also allowed to box after scans, where something was found. I doubt Benn would have been allowed to box if there had of been an issue

What I'm saying is, Frank didn't believe that he was too injured to fight.

    He thought it was psychological.

He says that for the only time in his career, he had to talk one of his fighters into fighting.

Why would Frank and Enzo have talked him into fighting, if they'd have both thought he wasn't able to fight?

Enzo was a proud father who would do anything to protect him.

Frank was his promoter, and Joe was his prized possession.

So Frank must have been right. Joe must have had some confidence issues.

I don't have any info about his shadow. Zod will clear that up.

I never said he was shot. I said he was faded. Which he admitted himself, which is why he put a huge amount of money on himself to win, in the hope it would motivate him. He knew he was at the end of the road after the Malinga fight, which is why he retired. But he was a proud man, and this game is hard to give up. Look at what happened in the rematch? Again it was just pride. It was horrible to see him go out like that with his ankle. I don't know why you give Collins any credit for that win.

Collins was a good fighter, but I feel he was a little lucky. Because he didn't fight the versions of Benn and Eubank that fought each other.
