    I think it's a hard one.

Not the same weight or style.

Sad that some people(mostly Americans) can't see that Calzaghe was great!

I have Calzaghe ranked slightly higher around the 50-55 mark with Mayweather more like 20-30.

2 great fighters for the following reasons

1 - there is no blueprint

2 - when faced with adversity it brought the very best out of both fighters

3 - superb adaptability from both, when plan A wasn't working there was a plan B in the locker, whether that was fighting going forwards or backwards, fighting on the inside or the outside.

4 - both clean athletes in an era of steroid riddled disgraces like jones, toney, mosley, holyfield, peterson etc etc

mayweather is the greater fighter with the greater achievements but both these men are fighters with unbreakable spirits that always find a way to win.

    Calzaghe's best 5 wins are:

    Eubank, Reid, Kessler, Hopkins, Bika.

Compare that to Floyd's 5 best wins:

    Oscar, Cotto, Corrales, Ortiz, Hatton.

Floyd is better. And If you go beyond the best 5 wins, Floyd's resume is MUCH better than Calslappy's.

Calzaghe spent too much time in the UK fighting euro-bums.

No, Floyd has beaten more quality opponents. I rank Floyd around 30-35 as far as ATG's.
