Because he got stopped 9 months ago in a title shot for the same belt Cordina owns against a guy that Cordina just beat. He hasn't done a thing to deserve it.
He did perform well against Rakhimov though even though he lost. I don’t mind Cordina Barrett as long as Cordina unifies or fights a world champion from another division afterwards.

And your correct, Kiko run him very close but styles makes fights and I think Barrett gives Cordina a good fight and could beat him. He was performing really well and as Maley has said it means nothing when you've lost. But in this case we have to give him more credit than that. He was fighting on an injury, can't remember if it was an achilles or a bad perforated eardrum or both but whatever it was we could all.see it was having an impact on zelfas performance.
You have a point with styles make fights, and although personally I don't see it happening their is always the possibility he gives Cordina a decent fight. Let's not kid ourselves that Kiko pushed him close. Kiko schooled him throughout the entire fight, what happened that night was one of the most embarrassing 'home' decisions.
