    Cortez is the ref Boxing deserves, but not the one it needs right now...and so we'll hunt him, because he can take it. Because he's not a ref. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector...fair but firm

    Joe Cortez is probably a good man. A good referee he was not. He robbed us of some great fights. Kind of disgraceful he was allowed to be a part of certain fights.
