They support boxing matches and their favorite fighter.

They may go overboard sometimes, but they generally do it in a positive way. It's the positive kind of overzealousness. Very enthusiastic. Cheerful and spirited and a fiesta atmosphere whenever there's a fight.

If you get a chance of watching a Pacquiao fight with a room full of Filipino expats there in England, I think you'd enjoy it. Really positive vibe.

Pacquaio has faced so many Mexican stars, and there has not been one incident of fights breaking out in the stands between Filipinos and Mexicans. If there's any jeering and booing, it's all in fun, like when you watch a wrestling match and you boo the bad guy.

They're not the hateful, negative kind of boxing fan.

But in real life, watching a Pacquiao fight with the biggest "*******s" on ESB is probably gonna be a lot of fun, and gonna be really funny and LOUD.

The ones you describe are Pacquiao fans. DINAMITA would suffice as a good example.

The ones I am talking about are *******s. They throw out all logic and each one of them serves only as one purpose, a hype train for Manny.

Enzo, Soriano, and PACDBEST are all great examples. Or anybody with a Pinoy lady as an avatar.

They're good guys once you get to know them. I may not agree with everything they say, but that doesnt make them the worst fans in the world. The worst fans bash fighters almost 24/7 and ***** about how boxing sucks, all the time.

I bet they're gonna be very cool as viewing partners in this coming fight, if ever you guys meet. Drinking some beer while screaming their lungs out and cheering. Not the delusional, obnoxious fans you think they are.

I watched Pac-Morales II in a jampacked moviehouse. We were there as early as 8 in the morning, that Sunday.

It was the first time I got misty eyed hearing the national anthem. Dont know why, that never happened to me before. Erik just beat Manny in their first meeting, and I wasnt sure if Manny can beat him. I was just hoping that win or lose, Manny gives it his all and at least hurts Erik a couple of times.

When the fight started, it was so loud that you couldnt hear the audio in the cinema anymore. It was ear splittingly loud cheering and screaming. It was almost like we were there at ringside.

When I saw that Manny was hurting Erik and he had a chance to win, I was going totally bonkers. I was screaming and hollering and jumping around uncontrollably, almost.

And when he finally stopped Morales, the collective screams of the crowd sounded like a bomb or something. People were hugging each other, shaking hands and some were near tears. (me included)

And you can see the whole cinema light up in dim cellphone screen light, they were all text messaging their loved ones the great news.

Jeez, it was electric.

 

I've never seen a live, bigtime pro boxing match before (I've seen a few live amateur fights, though) and I didnt expect that it would affect me that way.

It must be amazing to watch a real live boxing match.

The electricity in the air and the emotions in the theater just sweeps you up like a tsunami.
